David Roberts
Since 1995 David Roberts has helped define and implement strategic change in organizations. His focus is executive-level facilitation, strategic planning, and acceleration of business transformation.
For years David was the West Region Lead and Lead Facilitator for Capgemini’s Accelerated Solutions Environment (ASE). In this capacity he designed and facilitated over 250 large-scale collaborative work sessions in US, Canada, France, and Australia.
He has a client list of two dozen fortune 100 companies, including multiple engagements with HP, Cisco Systems, Genentech, Microsoft, Clorox, DHL, and Visa, Inc. He currently partners in different ways with large consulting companies IBM Global Business Services, Accenture, PriceWaterhouse Coopers, Deloitte, and Capgemini.
Surfing has been a consistent passion since junior high school, and David has realized his lifelong dream of living in a town that sells surfing wax at all the 7-11 stores. David’s surf adventures have included trips to over a dozen countries. On top of the list of favorite trips are mainland Mexico, Panama, Indonesia, and Guam. Lower of the list of trips are Guatemala (great country, bad surfing), Brazil (fantastic county, busy crowded waves), and Philippines (long flat spells). But surf-wise, there is no place better than home in Santa Cruz for the entire month of December.
He graduated Pomona College Magna Cum Laude and was awarded the Psychology Prize for published research on subliminal messages. He is certified in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, MG Taylor DesignShop Methodology, Grove Consultants Strategic Visioning, and High Ropes Teaming Methodologies.
He has a wife and two children and has always applied work experience to environmental sustainability, health care reform, and not-for-profit efforts as time and energy permit.
