Rex Pemberton
Rex Pemberton is a keynote speaker and facilitator for Peak Teams. He is also the designer of Peak Teams’ Everest Virtual Adventure.
Rex climbed Mt Everest at the age of 21. He then used his experience on Everest to lay the foundation for completing the seven summits – climbing the highest mountain on every continent.
Rex was the third youngest person in the world to achieve this remarkable feat.
Critical to this success was Rex’s ability to demonstrate ROI to sponsors, work closely with media and build relationships with a global, virtual team before every climb.
Now Rex uses these lessons about personal leadership, sustainable success and teamwork to deliver inspiring keynotes and facilitated workshops around the world.
To date, Rex has delivered over 400 corporate presentations to over 50,000 people across all 7 continents, including Antarctica! His client list includes top Australian, US and global businesses, including:
- CBRE Real Estate
- Hewlett Packard
- Panasonic
- Seagate Technologies
- Siemens
- University of Berkeley California
His stories present unique insights into achieving great success by combining the passion of youth with the wisdom of experienced leaders, to get ahead of the competition.
Rex has been the recipient of the Young Australian Adventurer of the year 2005 & 2007, as well as being a finalist in the 2006 Young Australian of the year.
Originally from Sydney Australia, Rex is now based in Pine Mountain Lake California with his wife Melissa.
