Rob Stewart McDonald
Rob has designed and presented team development programs for numerous clients from a diverse range of backgrounds. He holds an Honors degree in Management and is the only licensed presenter of Peak Teams programs in New Zealand. He works in a diverse range of industries, including: banking, finance, travel, information technology, pharmaceuticals, retail, engineering and consulting.
He conducts programs with an extensive array of clients throughout Australia and, New Zealand. Clients include: IBM, NAB, Allianz Insurance, Merck Sharpe & Dohme,
Microsoft, Synthes Pharmaceuticals, ENJO, Solvay Pharmaceuticals and Rydges Hotels among others.
Rob presents a variety of program styles, depending on client requirements, from indoor seminars to outdoor experiential programs. Outdoor programs can involve simple group activities in an outdoor setting through to full scale adventures that may include some adventure activities combined with activities like hiking, rafting, mountain climbing, snow cave building, avalanche transceiver rescues and orienteering.
Rob has a diverse range of adventure experience including; rock climbing in the Canadian Rockies and various areas throughout New Zealand, leading multi day traverses of parts of New Zealands Southern Alps, climbing and skiing peaks in New Zealand and extensive back country ski touring.
In business over the last five years Rob has developed a successful business providing comprehensive event management services and team development programs for leading companies’ conferencing in Queenstown, New Zealands adventure capital.
Rob’s approach presents a unique blend of his experience in leadership, adventure, teamwork and business, with a focus on participants learning from their experiences in each program and transferring these learning’s to their businesses.
